Wedding Venues in Myrtle Beach & Along the Grand Strand

I photograph weddings at clubs, gardens, castles, and private estates across Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, North Myrtle Beach, and Litchfield. A strong venue gives us portraits that already feel finished — Spanish moss, brick courtyards, long porches, and rooms with real light.

Below are venues I know well from real wedding days. Each one photographs differently. Some want a vintage, editorial look. Others are modern, beachy, or full Lowcountry. If your place isn’t listed, say so when you inquire — I travel for the right day.

How I work a venue

We walk the property before guests arrive when we can — ceremony spot, cocktail hour, and a quiet corner for portraits. I keep an eye on sunset and weather so you’re not stuck in harsh midday light. If the beach or a second look is close (21 Main to the ocean, Atalaya to Huntington Beach), we build that into the timeline instead of treating it as an afterthought.

Pine Lakes Members Club

I love Pine Lakes for a vintage, editorial look. The white colonnade, brick paths, and polished rooms already feel styled before we start. It’s one of my favorite places for formal portraits that still feel warm.

Kaminski House, Georgetown

Kaminski House gives you that old southern-town feel. We can shoot against the historic streets, the house grounds, or turn toward the river when you want something softer and quieter. Georgetown itself becomes part of the gallery.

21 Main Events, North Myrtle Beach

The courtyard at 21 Main is an easy place for portraits, with room to move and clean light. The beach is only a few minutes away when you want a second look at sunset without a long drive between locations.

Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen is one of the dreamiest wedding backdrops on the Grand Strand. Live oaks, Spanish moss, garden paths, and a sunset that actually feels cinematic. Ceremony under the trees photographs like a film still.

Atalaya Castle, Huntington Beach State Park

An old southern castle with a beautiful courtyard, weathered walls, and that rare mix of history and coast. The beach is a short walk when you want sand and sky in the same day as the castle portraits.

White Oaks

Modern and spacious, with a lot of room to move and clean lines for portraits. Great when you want something brighter and more contemporary than a classic plantation look.

Wachesaw Plantation

Classic southern style indoors, with dreamy Spanish moss outside. Sophisticated without feeling stiff — oak canopy portraits and refined interior details in one timeline.

The Village House at Litchfield

One of my favorite venues from start to finish. Bright rooms, a fireplace, beautiful bars, a chandelier, big windows, and an outside gazebo. So many details to work into the day that the gallery never feels like one flat backdrop.

Caledonia

A beautiful destination wedding spot draped in Spanish moss. Soft light, tall trees, and that Lowcountry look — especially strong for party portraits under the oaks.

Le Petit Fox

European and French-inspired elegance with Southern Lowcountry charm. Modern and stylish, with plenty of room for portraits — and a bride’s room that’s huge, gorgeous, and full of natural light.

A few questions I get

Do you already know my venue? If it’s on this list, yes — I’ve photographed real weddings there. If it isn’t, send the name and I’ll tell you how I’d shoot it.

Can we leave for the beach or a second location? Often yes, when the timeline allows. Places like 21 Main and Atalaya make that especially easy.
