21 Main Events at North Beach describes itself as the place “where New York style meets Southern charm,” and that is a fair summary. The venue hosts one wedding at a time, so the whole property is yours for the day. As a Myrtle Beach wedding photographer, I appreciate how much variety is packed into one address in North Myrtle Beach, from an all-season Courtyard to a Grand Ballroom made for dancing.

Just married, walking back up the Courtyard aisle

The venue is at 719 North Beach Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach. The Courtyard seats 200 for dinner or up to 300 for a ceremony, and fans and heaters keep it comfortable in every season. Mahogany garden chairs line the aisle. Indoors, the renovated cocktail bar features a greenery wall, and the Grand Ballroom holds up to 300 guests with Chiavari chairs.
Getting ready is easy too. The bridal suite has five vanities, so hair and makeup run smoothly, and the groom’s room has its own balcony. For couples who want sand underfoot, the venue also offers a beach ceremony option with a gold circular arbor.

The wedding party leading the way through the Courtyard
Sarah and Devon married in the Courtyard with soft sage-green bridesmaid dresses, blush and white florals, and a ceremony arch covered in pink roses and baby’s breath. The covered Courtyard kept the light even and gentle, which made their portraits between the columns glow with warm, natural skin tones. After the vows, the wedding party celebrated their way back up the aisle before everyone moved inside for dinner, a first dance, a sweet father-daughter dance, and a cake cutting beside the rose arch.

Olivia and Robert also said their vows in the Courtyard, with guests filling the rows on both sides. Olivia finished getting ready in the bridal suite, putting on her earrings by the vanity, then stepped into the Courtyard in a fitted lace gown for a few portraits before the ceremony. Their first kiss drew a big cheer, and afterward the whole wedding party celebrated with them under the covered entrance. Later we stole a quiet kiss under her veil, and the evening kicked off with a grand entrance into the reception between spark fountains.
